Still Loved

We started Still Loved when our son, Bastion Porter Cohen, was stillborn on March 25, 2020. Our goal was to offer a free service mailing bereaved parents cards on their child's birthday. Many bereaved parents feel alone and unsupported on the anniversary of their child's birth or death, especially if they have lost their baby in utero, but even neonatal loss as well. Our service aims to alleviate this by sending a card on their child's birthday, reminding them they are not alone.

A New Chapter

As of December 31, 2024, we are no longer sending birthday cards and have officially shut down Still Loved. We ran into a number of challenges that made this unsustainable.

We have canceled all recurring donations.

Over the last 4 1/2 years we sent over 5,000 birthday cards. We are extremely thankful for all of the donations we received and we loved being able to honor so many angel babies.

What's Next?

Moving forward, we are planning on sending birthday emails to all of the families who had previously signed up for the Still Loved birthday card service. We are looking into how to send birthday emails to new families as well.

In Memory Of You isn't going anywhere, we are hopeful that we can continue the card service on the In Memory Of You site for a small fee, for those that still want the service.
